Description of the missing person
Stavro was a 16 year-old young man who was studying to finish his Brevet. He excelled at mathematics and aspired to one day become an electrical engineer. He also loved to draw and excelled at that as well.
Stavro had a considerate and supportive character. He was the emotional and psychological support that his mother needed when his younger brother passed away a few years prior to Stavro's disappearance.
Circumstances of the Disappearance
On July 7th, 1987, Stavro left his house to meet with his friends so they can spend some time together and say goodbye to a friend who was travelling to America. They agreed on going to Fanar to have a few drinks together, yet they were never able to make it. While on their way to Fanar, two armed men in a car made them pull over and step out of their vehicle. After a short while, the two men forced the four boys into their car and they drove off. That day was the last day Stavro was seen or heard about.
