Description of the missing person
Mubarak dedicated his life to his job, studies and his country. He was working at the Public Security Department in Beirut while studying Law in the Lebanese University. On the weekdays, he dedicated his time to his work and university. However, on the weekends, he used to go back to his home town to spend time with his family and friends. He was characterized as having a good heart, in addition to having a serious personality.
Circumstances of the Disappearance
Mubarak was returning from university to visit his family in Majdal. Ibtissam, a colleague, accompanied him to the village to visit her family as well. They disappeared on their way back to their home town. At that time, there was a Syrian Army checkpoint situated between Ras Nhach and Kefrayyah.
