Description of the missing person
Ahmad was in good health and it was clear that he would become tall when he grew up. He had nasal problems that gave him nosebleeds when he slept. His mother was very worried about him when he disappeared. He was afraid of the dark, and he would not enter a room if it was dark inside. He liked sitting and thinking by himself. He was an excellent student who enjoyed studying a lot. He liked reading, conversation, and going out with his friends.
Circumstances of the Disappearance
Ahmad’s brother Mansour was making breakfast at the house and then left to get milk. As he was returning, he was stopped at a checkpoint, where he was detained and asked about his nationality and residence. As Ibrahim, Ahmad’s other brother, went to the bottom of the building to find out why Mansour was being held, the militants ascended the building and grabbed Ahmed along with his other brother Aziz and put them in trucks with Ibrahim and Mansour. They were held in the trucks from eight in the morning until 3:25 PM. Then they were placed in two trucks full of men and children that were surrounded by tanks. They headed on the road to the Kuwaiti embassy and the old airport. People at the airport square saw them as they were placing their hands on their heads.
