Description of the missing person
Shafiq had three brothers and four sisters. Her mother had abandoned their home. Shafiq was the mother of one son and she was thirty-two years old when she disappeared.
Circumstances of the Disappearance
In 1983, Shafiq was with her sister Kamal at a relative’s home in Kfar Qatra, in Chouf, when militants broke into the house and kidnapped all of them except for the residents of the house. Later on, news of her death arrived, but there was no evidence.
