Description of the missing person
Mohammad was a thirty-year-old architect. Most of his work took place in Muscat, Amman, Qatar, and Riyadh, so he didn’t come to Lebanon very frequently. He would often be outside of the country for six or seven months before visiting. Mohammad was married and the father of four children whose ages ranged from a year and three months old to nine years old. He also had two other daughters who had passed away.
Circumstances of the Disappearance
Three or four months before his abduction, Mohammad wanted to be close to his family, so he returned to Lebanon. One day, a few men who were in Mohammad's building in Tripoli shot at a number of scouts who were on the al‐Jadeed Road roundabout, injuring two of them. This led the scouts to break into into the building at 3:00 in the morning and kidnap all thirty-five of the men who were there, including Mohammad and his brother. Mohammad was wearing a nightgown, and the attackers took things from the house as well. After four or five years, a number of the abductees returned, including Mohammad’s brother. But Mohammad and another person, a sixteen‐year‐old university student, never came back and are still missing.
