حين كان نوري وزوجته فضيلة مستأجريْن شقة في المنصورية، جاء اصحاب البيت والذين كانوا أعضاء في حزب لبناني وأخذوه هو وزوجته لأجل لقاء رئيس ذلك الحزب. ورغم أن نوري كان معه في حينها ورقة تخوله العمل على الأراضي اللبنانية كان هذا اليوم هو آخر يوم يُرى فيه الزوجيْن ولم يُعرف عنهما شيئاً بعد ذلك.
